Bertie, our little star was born at 1.48am on Saturday 16 June 2007 in Warrington Hospital at just 22 weeks gestation. He lived for a few minutes before he died. He was so brave trying to live but was just too young. He is our precious little angel, taken straight to heaven as God wanted him back. He was a very much wanted IVF baby and we are devastated that we lost him. My husband and I miss him very much, but know that one day we will see him again. We know the Angels are looking after him, but wish so much that he was with us still. We think about him every day and love him very much.

Bertie - can't believe it's one year since you crossed the river. We really miss you and wish you were here with us, but hope the Angels have thrown a super 1st Birthday party for you! We had a lovely mass said for you at St James The Less in Rawtenstall. Fr Lupton read your name out 3 times!!! Hope you were watching. Please give Piggy a big hug from me and your daddy.
